The compact SA1100 distribution amplifier frame has already become a great success. The extremely low cost (List Price only Euro 850,-) Wide-Band frame with 8 pcs 1:4 DA’s (or 4 pcs 1:8 DA’s) is very well suited for distribution of all types of signals from DC up to 350MHz. Signal formats from PAL/NTSC via E3/DS3 and PDH/SDH to ASI and SDI (without cable equalisations) flow transparently through these amplifiers. 

This product, which has already been delivered to most areas of the world, has now got company by a new digital-only version, with equalizers and re-clocking, capable of handling digital signals up to 3Gbps HD signals. We must admit we have great expectations to this new version.

At the IBC exhibition this year Sandar showed a number of exiting new products in the compact “BlueLine” series, among these the 16x1:4 Wide Band (DC – 350MHz) monitoring switch and the new range of Ethernet based control panels.

We also showed our range of modular routers and distribution amplifiers including the 256 square ASI/SDI router in only 12RU. Our new product range created enormous interest among our customers, but also considerable noise among our competitors. The number of visitors at our stand was more than 50% higher than the previous years.
