In connection with NAB in Las Vegas this year Sandar will launch its first 3Gbps HD router. The development of the 1,5Gbps router was stopped after IBC last year when decision was made to take one further step forward and engage all available development resources for the 3Gbps project. “The advantages of 3Gbps routing are so many” our development manager says, “that there was know way that we could continue the dead-end 1.5Gbps development”.

The 3Gbps enable single line routing of 1920x1080p 50/60, 2048 x 1080p/24 as well as ASI, SD-SDI and the lower HD bit rates described in SMPTE 372M, 292M, 259M. Our HD 3G units will have the same or lower price than the competitions 1.5G units.

The new Sandar SA1100 compact wide band distribution amplifier and the modular MF1000 combined 8x8 routing/distribution frame will be shown at the Novotronik stand D2-31 in Hall 2 at the CabSat exhibition in Dubai 5-8 March this year.
