The Swedish DTT operator Teracom has selected Sandar routers for redundancy switching of MPEG encoders, multiplexers, network adapters and transmitters in their national DTT system. The project contains the delivery of a large number of SA2871 32x32 ASI routers and Control Panels to be implemented as expansion to the existing DTT installation in order to obtain full switching redundancy.
Sandar Telecast has now substituted the popular MF-1000/1500 family of products with new RoHS compatible products, named SA-1000 and SA-1500. This new line will be delivered from July 1st 2006. The functionality of the new products are similar to the replaced products, still some general improvements have been made.
Sandar has now launched a library for implementation of control protocol for Sandar routers (PROSAN). This object-oriented library is based on the Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework.
By using this library implementation of router control is done in a fraction of the time required earlier, linked directly to the users own MMI. The library will be delivered as a DLL file, which will be made available on our Web site on request. Please
